Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 20 – TV Review

OUaT Is This Henry Mills? Regina hair

I’d say they were due to flashbacks, but that wouldn’t be entirely accurate.

You know what would make this already-strained by too many new, unnecessary characters soap opera in its long-past-due seventh season with a half-in-half-out reboot more grounded and relatable?

Time travel. Of course.

Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 19 – TV Review

OUaT Flower Child Gothel tree nymph wig

Much like OUaT itself.

I mean, I suppose I should be impressed that even OUaT didn’t seem to care about Gothel’s tragic backstory episode.

Because I know I don’t.

Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 18 – TV Review

OUaT The Guardian Gold Samdi gunpoint

Maybe next time he’ll actually pull the trigger, though.

Less than ten episodes to go, everyone, and we’ll be free.

Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 4 – TV Review

OUaT Beauty Belle old

What was even the point then?

I think it’s time that I came to terms with the fact that Once Upon a Time didn’t reboot itself. Fuck me and my misinterpretation of the main cast exodus and pre-release press.

No, baby. This is more like The Vampire Diaries post-Elena.

And that ain’t good.

Curse of Chucky – CBF Review

Curse of Chucky wanna play

That knife totally isn’t compensating for something.

I remember the Chucky movies were pretty scary growing up.

Until they devolved into comedy-only shadows of their former selves.

Sadly, this attempt at a gritty return to form misinterpreted “gritty” as “boring, standard slasher movie.”
