Arrow Season 6 Episode 1 – TV Review

Arrow Fallout Black Siren Katie Cassidy

Dynasty needs all the help it can get.

I’m only still here for Katie Cassidy.

And the occasional male shirtlessness.

Arrow Lian Yu Adrian gun suicide

#Unsinkable

Felicity, Olicity, and Curtis aside, this is a pretty respectable season finale.

If only it had, like, stakes and stuff.

You know. Tension.

Arrow Season 5 Episode 22 – TV Review

Arrow Missing Adrian Oliver gun

Still a better love story than Olicity.

It’s time to break out returning characters to save a dismal back half of the season.

But damn, they know how to get me.

Arrow Fighting Fire With Fire Oliver Adrian impeachment

I didn’t. But here we are.

Arrow What We Leave Behind Laurel back

Hopefully for real real, not for play play.
Poor Captain Cold.

The only thing missing from this episode was a concrete reveal of Prometheus’ identity.

But otherwise, it’s got it all (except Curtis’ subplot, but that’s par for the course).

I know I’ve been saying it all season, but this ain’t no Season 4, anymore. For so, so much the better.

Arrow Season 5 Episode 7 – TV Review

Arrow Vigilante Thea Quentin rehab

Who knew Thea and Quentin would end up being the best parts of Arrow?

Is it wrong that the most compelling sections of the episode in a superhero action show don’t involve any superheroes or action?

God, CW. You got me.

Arrow The Recruits Felicity Havenrock guilty

Tens of thousands, actually. Right, Lyla?

Is it wrong that Peppy, Not-Dating-Oliver Felicity is enjoyable, and I’m now dreading the repercussions of Havenrock sneaking up to get her?

Well, that’s what happens when your street-level vigilante hero show plays the nuke card. And now we’re stuck with it.

Unless Felicity dies. Which would be fine.
