Riverdale Season 4 Episode 6 – TV Review
The non-Betty subplots of this episode are so appallingly bad that I won’t even vaguely reference them this time.
It’s unfathomable to me how anyone who was involved in the production of the stellar first season of Riverdale could look at what it’s become and say they’re proud of it.
All hope is lost. The second Betty’s storyline hits a bump the road, I’m abandoning ship, y’all.
Riverdale Season 4 Episode 4 – TV Review
So this is week 2 of The Betty-only Report.
And with the other subplots this week being almost comically bad (what the fuck even was the point of Veronica’s?), I feel like things are going to stay this way for a while.
Unless I give in to the truth buried deep inside and just throw Riverdale in the bin. Fucking hell, I’m close.
Riverdale Season 4 Episode 1 – TV Review
Yes. I did cry.
It wasn’t a “Camille’s death on The Originals” kind of cry. But it was still pretty solid and embarrassing.
And being solid and embarrassing is what Riverdale should be aspiring to after the slew of sewer sludge we had to put up with last season.
Riverdale Season 3 Episode 19 – TV Review
This episode reminded me a lot of Episode 21 from last season, aka Riverdale: Infinity War.
And what timing, too, as Endgame just came out.
I haven’t seen it, yet, but I sure hope Endgame has more to offer than Riverdale.
Riverdale Season 3 Episode 18 – TV Review
My thoughts before going into this episode were “this episode titled after one of my favourite three movies of all time better not be bad.”
Ah, to be that young and optimistic. How foolish I was. Because this Jawbreaker is, like all of Riverdale Season 3, just fucking broken.
Riverdale Season 3 Episode 15 – TV Review
It’s another shit episode of Riverdale. Not much more complicated than that.
Riverdale Season 3 Episode 14 – TV Review
Remember the resolution I made last episode to just grimly soldier on through this travesty of a season?
This is me. Soldiering.
Riverdale Season 3 Episode 12 – TV Review
For an episode without a Betty subplot, things aren’t actually too bad.
It almost makes me forget that Riverdale is introducing yet more gangland bullshit.
Riverdale Season 3 Episode 11 – TV Review
This episode is just really exhausting, you guys.
And I truly want to believe that this avalanche of exposition is Riverdale clearing the decks so we can move forward.
But can we really trust that?
Riverdale Season 3 Episode 8 – TV Review
It’s pretty bad that realising Dynasty’s mid-season finale won’t be until next week was actually the second worst realisation I had this week.
The worst was that I finally realised what present day Riverdale has been reminding me of:
Revenge Season 2.
Jesus Christ, CW. Reel it in. If Revenge can come back from international terrorist syndicates and goofy hackers, then I have faith you can survive this endless, evil board game.
Please.
