Under the Dome – Discontinued

I will miss the cave raves, though.
I was hoping that Under the Dome would pull a Revenge Season 3 and loudly ignore the shitpile of its second season and return to the triumphant, if middling, survival drama it used to be.
I was wrong.

And no, this won’t be the last time (or the first) we see Barbie getting touchy-feely with the super cute Hunter.
Under the Dome may not be exciting, compelling, or make a lick of sense. But at least they’re tossing us so homoerotic subtext.
God bless.

You know what I would do if I was able to escape a death trap dome nightmare?
Immediately find a way back in.
It looks like Barbie, Pauline, Sam, and Lyle think like I do.

Well well, Under the Dome. Nice to see you finally find some outward momentum.
It only took us 7 episodes.

We’ve waited so long.
Well, it was a nice break, but we’re back to the “random dome threat of the week” formula.
Luckily, it’s nothing the fish-brained, gullible people of Chester’s Mill can’t fix.

Does it help that Rebecca is actually staring down an off-screen single mother and her child, who she plans on murdering, along with everyone else in this church?
It doesn’t, does it?

Golly gosh, maybe my dreams of Rebecca becoming our new villain could be true?
At the very least, she’s shaping up to be a fantastic Evil Advisor for our suddenly-mellow Big Jim.
Set him back on the right path, baby.

Butterflies? Yes, butterflies.
From last week’s attack of the killer magnetism, now it’s all hands on deck to take down the butterfly menace.
They’re like a locust plague, but cuter.

So we’re back under the dome again.
Do you think we could go back to having some actual drama and tension, or is the onslaught of random, non-sensical dome happenings, paired with spiritual, “the dome wants us to” jibber jabber going to continue?
If you’re an optimist, turn back now.

Mike Vogel needs to move to the city or something.
Apparently suffering through Spring Breakers‘ pink haired brat wasn’t enough pink for me this week.
And Spring Breakers had lines, too.
Lines of cocaine. Is the joke.
