It was going to be a tough ask to compete with the Thanksgiving episodes of seasons past (could anything ever out-gay the Wizard of Oz fantasy sequence?), and this episode sadly doesn’t live up to those standards.
But goddamn, the closing scene got me in what I will happily proclaim is the gag of the season.
And with dreamy bedroom eyes Liam opening the episode, it’s not a bad sandwich. The turkey’s just a little dry in the middle. That’s all.
I’m sensing a caption theme this week.
Also, I just want to say that I was almost going to suggest Kelly Rutherford would be the historical alliance president last week, but I hesitated because I thought it wouldn’t make much sense to bring her back if Steven isn’t here.
And it doesn’t. But goddamn, she is still a blast to have around.
Maybe we could bring Steven back, too, though? Just saying.
With Kirby and Culhane stalling, Dynasty’s hottest couple again comes back to Fallon and Liam. The comedy scenes also in this episode just make them even better.
Because it’s hot? I don’t know a lot of metaphors.
Did you think revealing and imprisoning A would be the end of all this intolerable conspiracy drama, or at least Cece?
Well that’s a double “no” for you, baby.
