It’s finally over. And for all my venom and bluster against this show over the years, there will be no gravedancing like there was with PLL.
Sure, even right to the very end this episode is full of plot contrivances and last minute twists that come out of nowhere. But amid all that, Once Upon a Time, much like it has for almost its entire run, found the one true thing within it all:
But why does an episode titled “Breadcrumbs” and ostensibly about the reveal of Hansel’s identity have unrelated, bland Henry flashbacks?
Or am I expecting a little too much out of OUaT to give reasons for why the flashbacks are bland?
Yeah. I’m seven season in at this point. I should know better. Sorry.
I think it’s time that I came to terms with the fact that Once Upon a Time didn’t reboot itself. Fuck me and my misinterpretation of the main cast exodus and pre-release press.
No, baby. This is more like The Vampire Diaries post-Elena.
And that ain’t good.
