Nancy Drew – Discontinued

George already did. And Stoner Guy is so bland and white that a Dynasty love interest role is just begging for him.
Almost a year to the day since the last new CW shows that I discontinued, and it’s Nancy Drew’s turn to be thrown away.
Unlike Charmed, however, I don’t feel any remorse. This one was a complete wash.
Nancy Drew Season 1 Episode 5 – TV Review
I had the same itch with Nancy Drew that I had with Riverdale this week, and very nearly tossed it in the Discontinued bin where it belongs.
But like Riverdale, I’m going to give Miss Drew one more shot.
Because ghost possession in this universe is wacky and apparently easily-accepted by the characters, which was a pleasant surprise to me.
Nancy Drew Season 1 Episode 4 – TV Review
Is it too late to recast Nancy Drew with Shangela?
And also throw out the entire script. Just while we’re in there, you know?
Nancy Drew Season 1 Episode 3 – TV Review
Imagine this sloppy mess of an episode being the one that airs the same week that it’s announced the show has gotten picked up for a full season.
Between this, Legacies, and dear God poor Riverdale, I have to wonder what the fuck is happening over at The CW.
Just keep Dynasty inside the protective salt circle, though, and I’m willing to endure it.
Nancy Drew Season 1 Episode 2 – TV Review
Also, you call that a mugshot?
Anyway, onto less exciting things than Tatianna merchandise. Did you guys see this week’s Nancy Drew?
Nancy Drew Season 1 Episode 1 – TV Review
Firstly: Maggie Lawson in all her TV movie glory will always be my favourite Nancy Drew, so let’s just make that perfectly clear.
Or Veronica Mars, if we’re not going literal.
But this Nancy Drew? Ya bland, baby.
Dynasty Season 2 Episode 14 – TV Review

“You mean it helps when characters actually have empathy and care about each other? Whaaa!?” – Present Day Riverdale
I don’t think a shitty TV review blog (and mostly CW shows, at that) is the right place to get political, but I just want to say that as an Aussie, I was extra grateful for Dynasty bringing the quality and grace it does this episode after the last couple of days we’ve had.
It seems shallow that a CW soap opera would raise my spirits. And it is. But it did, and I’m thankful for that.
Also the gag of this episode’s ending. Oh. Mon. Dieu.
Eye Candy Season 1 Episode 10 – TV Review
But this is not a better world. This is Eye Candy.
Aussie Guy does get to live, though.
Which is yet another of Eye Candy’s failings.
Bates Motel Season 2 Episode 10 – TV Review
Let the I Just Hate Everything season finales begin.
That kiss is gonna be hard to beat.
