Yeah, mate. I’m over it.
I kept trying to give Heathers a fair go. And to be fair, it wasn’t all bad.
But goddamn, way to be all bluster and controversy, and then have nothing to actually back it up.
This is just like that stupid Seth Rogen in North Korea movie. Except that wasn’t ten fucking episodes long.
Much like last episode, I would be hesitant to call this episode, and series finale, a trainwreck. Because trainwrecks are actually exciting.
If I had to distill The Originals series finale down to one word (and this is the Internet, baby. Distilling complex ideas into clickbaity, list format is the name of the game), it would be “meh.”
And “meh” is not how I want to feel about the finale of what once was the best vampire soap opera on the CW.
Even the TVD finale wasn’t meh (it wasn’t good, either. But you know).
It makes me wonder how much of a garbage dump the Legacies finale will be. And by “finale,” I mean at the end of the first season. Do you really think that it’ll be renewed?
There are only three possible explanations for how Pretty Little Liars turned out:
1) I. Marlene King is clinically insane;
2) I. Marlene King is the greatest troll of the decade; or
3) I. Marlene King is just an incompetent, egomaniacal dickhead.
Don’t you wish it was anything but number 3? Sigh.
TVD Series Finale Pros/Cons List:
Cons: was shit.
Pros: had Katherine.
Eh, I’ll take it.
The only thing scary about the Scream Queens finale is that we have to sit through two fucking hours of it.
It’s tough enough trudging through one episode a week.
This is just mean.
To ABC’s credit, this actually does feel like a proper finale.
If they somehow managed to get renewed, I don’t know how they’re going to bullshit their way out of this ending.
It’s a good thing.
