Riverdale Season 3 Episode 10 – TV Review

Riverdale The Stranger Betty

If Rose McGowan’s taught us anything, it’s that truly brave people call themselves brave.

I had an epiphany during this episode: what if this rash of undoing everything the mid-season finale set up is intentional? What if the writers realised the mistakes they made and have decided to walk it all back?

Hey, in an episode without Cheryl, it’s the only thing keeping me going.

Riverdale No Exit Archie shirtless

And I’m just not sure if it’s enough.

The truth is, this post was delayed because I actually had something to do in the real world there for a while.

But I’d be equally happy to say that it was because I just don’t care about Riverdale, anymore.

Because I just don’t care about Riverdale, anymore.

Riverdale Brave New World Kevin Moose kiss

It’s a gay off.

Despite Kevin and Moose finally getting it together after all this time, this episode has nowhere near the sense of culmination that the Season 1 finale did.

Reel it in, Season 3. Reel it in.

Riverdale Shadow of a Doubt Reggie Archie gun mob

Reggie isn’t the smartest.

Well, if we’re going to have murdered teens, we might as well have murderer teens.

Riverdale A Night to Remember Cheryl Carrie blood candelabra

Cheryl, like Riverdale, is reclaiming her winning moves.

It’s no coincidence that Riverdale chose to echo one of the best shots from the Season 1 finale this week, as this episode is confidently the best Riverdale we’ve had since Season 2 began.

Let’s just all agree that as fun as a musical episode can be, we don’t want Riverdale to turn into Glee, okay?
