Gosh, I’m glad the announcement of Blood & Oil’s season order reduction (and presumable cancellation) came out last week, or else I would be ditching this wasted opportunity of a show.
But, after this episode, there are only four left.
Amber takes a first tentative step off the bench this week. Let’s keep that momentum going.
Considering the utter banality of Blood & Oil, I was considering dumping this weak excuse for a Revenge successor.
But with the recent news that the season order had been cut down to only ten episodes (and, presumably, will be cancelled after that), I’ve decided I’ll keep hanging on.
Maybe they’ll finally unleash Amber Valletta before the season is up?
Yes. Much like Regina in this week’s Once Upon a Time, Amber Valletta is getting sidelined to make way for yet more insane business decisions from Chace.
My enduring adoration for Lydia from Revenge is pretty much the only thing keeping me on the line, Blood & Oil. You need to put Amber on the fucking field, already.
Well, after the destructively fast pace of last week’s premiere, it’s time for Blood & Oil to grow up and become a proper ABC primetime soap.
So get ready for arbitrary additional characters, poor communication between our leads, and a break-neck drop in speed.
At least Revenge had the revenge-of-the-week thing to keep it moving.
