Well, the good news is that this episode isn’t as scum bucket-y as last week‘s.
The bad news is that Scream Queens is trying to pull an eleventh hour moral turnaround on Chanel, a girl who just last episode happily thought she’d murdered a love rival. So she could secure a seat at a dinner.
And I say “thought” because it turns out Lea isn’t dead, after all.
So last episode was a total wash.
I was so close to not even bothering reviewing this at all.
Ashley Tisdale should really consider throwing a Bynes or a Miley if this is where her career is at, though.
I’ll preface this by saying that I have been a loyal 5SF fan ever since I got my first iPhone back in late 2010 and discovered the joy of watching YouTube in bed.
Despite some banality, which isn’t surprising considering they’ve literally posted a video every weekday for 5 years, they do a pretty good job. No hate (irony. Because I’m awful).
What I’m not too keen on is this Kickstarter they’re doing to fund a feature film.
So you’ve seen what movies I chose for I Just Hate Everything’s 1st anniversary.
But let’s face it, I post way more about TV shows. Because they distract me from observing and fully appreciating the despairing emptiness of my existence.
So here’s a list.
Also, just a few things you should know:
I’m including any shows and episodes I watched and posted about in the last year. Even if they had aired previous to May 7 2012.
The title should have clued you in, but this list isn’t necessarily my 5 favourite shows. Just the ones I think are the most memorable or important to me (but yeah, some of them are my favourites).
They are in no particular order. Bias? Me? Never.
From the rather excellent horror sequel I posted about yesterday, now we come to one that is the opposite.
This one doesn’t even have a “wrong turn” in it.
That’s the level of laziness here.
So April’s back to her old ways this episode.
Unthankfully, Ron’s still there to step up to the “unnecessary emotionally significant” plate.
Season 5? I’m impressed.
NOTE: Don’t get twisted on me, bitch. Before you get mad, read the About and Review Format pages. I’m not a monster, I’m a troll.
If you read last week’s review, you’ll know that although I will forever and always be glued to ol’ GG, I’m certainly not happy with how it’s been lately. This week is more of the same, but kinda worse, because it’s the season finale. Read More…
