Discontinued: Parks and Recreation
This is the end.
Hold your breath and count to the Skyfall reference.
So what I’m trying to say is that I’m discontinuing my reviews for Parks and Recreation. But you probably should have worked that out from the title already. Keep up.
I actually lost passion for reviewing Parks and Rec a long time ago. I was pretty much only keeping up with it because I was also doing 30 Rock, and that’s finished now.
It’s just a bit tough trying to rag on a 20 minute sitcom that is honestly good: 1) It’s short, so almost everything that’s kept in the episode is decent. 2) Sitcoms tend not to rely on arcs or development (which are my main source of bitching). 3) I just really like this show.
So yeah. I’m gonna still keep watching, but only for enjoyment. Like Happy Endings.
Oh, and this episode features a 3 part harmony between Ann, April and Donna when they sing Cyndi Lauper’s Time After Time. A perfect ending.

Yeah, it’s the wrong song. But the reference was worth it.
Do Nashville!! Giggity
